I have a 1990 944 Turbo without the M030.

I am planning on getting the 968 M030 Anti Roll bars, but what can I do to stiffen up the soggy boge shocks?

The more I look into it, the more confused I get! Ideally one place will sell me 4 shocks 2 springs, 2 helper springs, or a set of coilovers.....well ideally they would GIVE me them

What are my options....?

Dave

And if you do decide to go that way I can get a significant discount for you

Just spotted you are in northants - if you want to try a 2.5 Lux out that is fitted with these then drop me a mail, I am only just up the road in lutterworth M1 J20

P.P.S. If you are planning on doing the work yourself, the rears are absolute buggers to fit!!

Dave, if you do take up Dontlifts offer of a testdrive come pick me up on the way. I'll sit in the back - I'm small

Sit in the back - you will sit in the front behind the steering wheel like a proper man

I will go in the back plan is to do it next weekend as I need to get my internal oil cooler sorted first as it has split

Hey Paul!

As it's you.....I'll let you sit in the front, somehow I dont think Clare will be too inretested in geeky suspension chat!

Dontlift - just give me a date.

I have been thinking I should just get the susupension ordered and while I am waiting I could deceide on spring weights.

you will need to order the springs at the same time, I will get you a firm price sometime next week on them, as I will be seeing my man when I pick my car up from having the oil cooler sorted out

P.S. would you be interested in second hand springs, as I may well go for some even stiffer ones.

I would be interested in 2nd hand springs, but I think yours may well be a little to hardcore for me.

1st rule of track driving. Whatever spare part you take with you, will never fail.

2nd rule of track driving. The spare that you left at home because it will never break. Always breaks.

Top tip. Always cary spare parts for the bits that are a real bugger to change. Rule 1 will apply, and they'll never need replacing.

Who has a 944T I can take along as a 'spare' on the next trackday?

Well you've already pinched my Mrs battery at a previous day so you might as well have mine

And if I supply you mine as a spare then we should both never get a breakdown,
