Could be any of the big Gemran tuners (Ruf, Gemballa, Techart...) or indeed one of the UK ones. I would certainly want to know who did the work before considering buying it though. With the engine being a 3.4 litre, I would guess it is based on the Carrera2/4 engine of the period (1999). As well as bolting on turbos I would want to know what engine mods had been done internally to cope with the turbos. Together with gear box mods etc.

This is unlikely to be a 'big name' conversion, so get a specialist who knows his porkers to check it over nut by nut and bolt by bolt. If it has been put together properly it will be quite a machine, but make sure brakes and handling can cope. Apparently the chassis starts to struggle at about 350bhp without extra mods.

TTP here in Germany do a well reported conversion-either 420 or 450bhp version if I remember correctly.
I have their brochures as I considered one before deciding to stay with TVR-(Tamora and now T350T Red Rose on order).
TTPs version was also 3.4 litre based on Boxster S 3.2 litre lump.
Cost in 2002 was car plus ca. 30,000EUROs (20,000quid) for the full house version with uprated brakes additional intercooler etc.
Test in Sport Auto was very very positive-if I rember correctly o-60 in 4.5sec o-100mph in under 10 secs. Top speed 180mph

If anyone wants a TTP conversion doing in the UK we would only be too happy to oblige.

Any idea of a ballpark figure. I have considered keeping my current cart indefinitely. If I do once its warranty has expired I might well consider some power modifications...that's a year away so stop rubbing yer hands together...
