Just get the car, Steve. You'll miss driving it over Christmas else. And its going to depreciate "horribly" anyway - they all do - I don't think a few weeks is going to make a big difference.

Not exactly - theoretically there is no running in needed for the Cayenne engine - HOWEVER - as with any new car you should take it easy for the first couple of hundred miles whilst the tyres, brakes etc all bed in.
You will however go lightly on your right foot but not because you need to!!! Unless that is, you have your own oil well!!
