Targa - C4?

Can someone please tell me why there isn't such as thing as a targa C4?

The 993 and 996 Targas were not offered with the four wheel drive system, due to the high weight of the roof system. It was felt that the heaviest body style (targa) with the heaviest drive system (4WD) would have too significant of an accellerative performance drop over the rest of the C2 and C4 range.
