Heard rumours Norwich OPC are in trouble ... is it true ... hope no-one has a big deposit with them

My Dad was about to place a deposit with a Peugeot dealer
Fortunately the chap he was dealing with told him not to place any money with them yet... very shortly after this they went bust!
Off the top of my head I'm not sure where someone would stand - would you fall in the list of unsecured creditors or would another dealer take on your order? I would guess that if you paid by credit card you would have some protection from the card company?

The Dacres also own Tonbridge OPC, so they may be in trouble too? When in there last week, it was very quiet, and was told that several staff had been laid off. Shame, but sign of the times really.
