Hi Guys

Anyone know how I can rent time at Bruntingthorpe. Me and a few friends want to hire it so we can just be houligans on the runway.

Cheers
Sean

Hi Sean, I think they are pretty well booked for the immediate future, I will be organising another VMax day early next year, will be a max of 30 cars which allows for plenty of time on the runway & rest of circuit, will also have speed recording equipment too although the day is very informal, ask anyone thats been

do a search under bruntingthorpe for photos of previous days.

Cheers.

As Craig San suggests, informality is the order of the day: no tedious little track marshall know it all types barking out pointless instructions to a gaggle of over confident farm labourers.

To add to the enjoyment of proceedings, it may be beneficial to bring along a WWI period airfield table and a couple of matching rickety chairs, atop which an old HMV style gramaphone can be wound up to spin your favourite 78s as a fine body of personages - one or two with north eastern accents - attempt to sample road life as it should be, were it not for the petits pois who dominate public life on this chronically o'er crowded and increasingly lesser-sceptred isle d'Albianum.

On, on, as they say.

Barenboim.

Ah yes, Sir Melv but have you met the fellow? There is only one word and dire seems indequate, such is the lowliness under consideration.

Quick question(s) for craig:

Are chariots of a non-germanic descent welcome or is the purity of the teutonic tussle defended at all costs?

And speaking of costs, just how much of one's hard earned folding is required to make use of this facility?

anyone is welcome! Italian, German, British, usually works out at about £150 per car, as many drivers as you wish, includes full day, tends to work out as many runs as you wish, includes timing/speed recording equipment also.

Certainly not, Chris!

In fact, I've been trying to blag a ride in somebody's Tuscan for bleein' ages...

The joy of Brunters resides in the variety.

After all, last time, I think we had the highest concentration of Noblata in the Midlands!

Yep, doing your marshall stuff.

You are peering down towards the first bend at the bottom, hand above eyes ships captain style and rather unfortunately your other hand is on your hip.

I'll post it up when I get a chance...
