Carole Nash Insurance
Discussion
Just renewed the 944 insurance with Carole Nash £215.90 including breakdown and legal and that is with all mods declared.......
Can definately recommend them very friendly exelent knowledge of the mods on the phone and an excellent price with the backup of breakdown cover etc at no extra cost.

I take it that is with a fairly low mileage restriction, and does not include track cover. If not then where do I sign?
No track cover but
it, if you brake it on track fix it at home, and yes 5k limit (and a mechanical speedo
) so that'll be unlimited mileage policy then

CN do policies with two underwriters for their classic cars.
The AXA one allows trackdays, but only in so much as the trackdays are not specifically excluded and that driving your car in a 'club event, show or motor rally' is covered. You need to tell them about the non-competitive nature beforehand.
This info is only available to those who spend an absolute age getting CN to check with AXA etc. - most chimps in insurance co's don't bother checking the small print.
So either The Merkinmeister was fobbed off with the non-AXA policy or just a quick and easy stock answer...
