Anyone else received unsolicited mail from Jasmine
Discussion
I have spoken to Sue at Jasmine about it. Only a privileged few recieved an email, I believe Sue thought it was useful info for those who had not been entirely happy with Design911.
Again, I also have only heard good things about Brian and Sue at Jasmine.
For the record, I believe that Sue will be contacting Ted before getting in touch with members via their profiles again, she is enquiring about advertising with PH and has been invited to contribute to the forum. After all, we welcomed Henry

Pistonheads didn't pass on your email address.
Sue posted through your public PH profile. This only happened to '6 or 7' people, apparently. If you didn't reply she won't know your email address.
She is aware that her actions are not 'protocol' and has been asked to check with Ted next time. I have also pointed her towards banner advertising on PH, so some good may come of this transgression (banner ads help keep this site free).
Hope this keeps everyone happy.

Yup, it says forwarded by Pistonheads but it wasn't sent by Pistonheads. Important difference, as one is a mail delivery system, the other implies Ted is trying to flog you stuff, or approves of the people who are. And he doesn't.
As you say, the new website doesn't seem to work properly... not a very good impression.

If only they had sent it today!

I used to get e-mails from Jasmine with massive attached files, on all sorts of things. This including how to update a Boxster, which is about as much use to me as how to knit socks. I phoned them up and asked them to remove me from their mail list as I was not best pleased with having my mail system cloged with huge unsolicited fies.
