I wonder if someone can help me. I am a new member and want to know about prices for the new boxster. I ordered mine last year, and am due to take delivery from JCT 600 ( Leeds )on March 1st. It's a 2.7, with about £8k of add-ons ( climate, leather, hard top, boxster II wheels tc etc ). They have now given me an invoice to settle prior to the date and I wonder if there's any point me trying to haggle or look to get any add-ons ( other than the mats they've said they'll give me ). What do you think ?

If you don't ask you don't get! but I think it is very unlikely you will get anything from them, certainly not much if any money off at all.
At best you may get a free service or something thrown in.
You have to consider that in march a new decently specced Boxsta will be born with summer round the corner, if you don't want it they can probably unload it very quickly to someone else waiting for a car who will happily pay list rather than wait many months for their car to arrive...Good luck.

p.s. get ready for loads of comment as to why you spent £8k on extras rather than get the "S" version.

Why did you spend 8k on extras rather than get a Boxster S?

Cheers for that - I know I've spent a load on extras - but I'd rather have a fully specced car than a basic 3.2 .... queue comments ...

It is highly unlikely that you will get any thing else now. Really there is no point in haggling. Just look forward to enjoying your car.
