Mine is all good, a BS-free independent that really know their transaxle cars.

Don't expect good coffee or stunning receptionists though.

EMC are absolutely top guys. They spend more time stopping me spending money than they do charging me.

They know 924/944/928/968's better than anyone in this country.

yeah it was unfortunatly named by Steph, so I cant complain lest she remove my 'taters'. The car isnt 'quite' finished yet.. still a bit of work in progress to get finalised.

As SS7 said, dont expect quality cofee or big breasted receptionists ( unless Ben counts?? ), and go fully prepared to be called a name or two.

They have a good reputation among the porsche specialsits i deal with, had some parts for a 968 and were a pleasure to deal with.

With Kev it seems to relate to how well he knows you, you feel more like an extended part of the family then a punter.

Very much a BS free zone but they have their way of doing things and theirs only, I am sure Kev could have made a lot more money if he was an ego stroker, but its really not his style.

Just walk around the pits at a PCGB race and look at how many cars seem to have one of Kev's cages i.e. an EMC motorsport shell, its very illuminating.

thinking of taking my 968cs in there for a top end rebuild/new clutch/flywheel (hopefully nothing more) - had a word with kevin today about it & it appears he knows his onions. hoping they will return it to its former self
