996 Slipping Clutch?
Discussion
My 1999 Carrera 4 has gone to the local OPC suffering from a slipping clutch which occured whilst driving it just before Xmas. It slips for about 300rpm at about 3000rpm (whilst under torque during hard acceleration) then functions as normal during the rest of the rev range.
The OPC have just called me saying that they have extensively tested the car and check the clutch system but cannot find any faults or sign of slip. Has anyone got any ideas to what could of/be the problem?
Thanks in advance
Note: It slipped for the first time after i'd driven it for about 10mins of sedate driving in the rain (In case its relevant!)
