I am perplexed.
I have tested a 911 Turbo today.
My business partner has spent all afternoon telling me it's for hairdressers.
A/ Wheres he getting this? And B/ does anyone else get pish like that?

That's the easy answer and understand why youd think that but he's able to buy fancy cars and has a nice car worth more than I am looking to spend.

He is adamant that they are perceived this way.

It's a new one to me!!!

What business are you in?

Boxing?

I don't think a turbo is a hairdressers car but then I'm just in finance.

We are in investment business.

It's actually so inaccurate I'm letting it annoy me more than it should!!

Perhaps it's the 4wd (which some regard as less manly) and that a lot of them are tiptronic?

I'd take up hairdressing if it meant I could have one.

Did you say it was a 911TT and he just caught the TT bit? ;-)

I know some people think the Turbo a bit brash looking and over fussy - vents and those wheels etc. Maybe that's where he is coming from. I prefer the cleaner lines of the normal cars.

It's hardly an X1/9 so I wouldn't call it a hairdresser's car but it is a bit soft for a sports car - it's a GT and that's exactly what your business partner has ... a GT biggrin

It most definitely isn't a hairdressers car. I've never heard of a hairdresser who needs 420hp. smile
