Unusually my 993RS has Sport fronts + rear seats. It suits me as I take daughters out, but is it much of a negative when I come to sell? I ask as I was thinking of buying a pair of original RS Recarro buckets 2nd hand (they're not made any more) Would this help to sell car one day and would I get money back - they'll cost about a £1000 for a pair.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Piers, you bought the car quickly before i even had the chance to view it so there must be a reasonable demand for it
With respect to the buckets, they do make the car, but would prove impractical for your current use of the vehicle.I wouldn't worry about re-sale value too much.

If you can find a pair of leather covered correct RS seats with runners for £1000 then you should buy them, that would be a very good deal indeed.

No I bl**dy didn't! I left a message for the vendor, who's been away last couple of days, & due back this afternoon. But it looks like somebody else got in first....b**ger!

Vendor's a customer of mine and probably thought I was chasing overdue invoice!!!

PS Welshchris - I like yer numberplate....not yer team though!

Presumably your allegiance lies with one of the many teams we've beaten lately!

Do you know where Manchester is then Piers?

I dunno, should be supporting your local team, and before you ask why 'Welshchris' is an Arsenal fan, I was born and brought up in N.London!

Where in N London, it's a big place with lots of teams - some better than others?????!!!!!

I was born in Cambridge, when they were non-league and, apparently, this means you can support any team!!

Piers, You are not alone mate!

I am a Northerner stuck down here and part of the reason of my getting into Porsche, was to get to see the Mighty Reds in under 3 hours!

East Finchley - There's only one team in North London by the way - spurs don't count! ;-)

I still travel up for all the games as well.
