997 C2S (gen 1) "psm is in diagnosis mode"?

Took the 911 out for a spin earlier and it's not been driven much recently.

On starting her up, I get a message on the dash which think read "PSM is in diagnosis mode".
What does that mean then?

Did a 90 mile trip her and she was driving normally.

Any ideas?

mine did it once when i had a duff battery

I had this appear a couple of times when I was having battery "issues". Now that problem is fixed, this has not been seen again.

Thanks for the replies guys. My battery seems fine (and the car fired up 1st time both times when left for week-long ski hols) but I'll get it checked next time I get chance to drop into my local indy.

Mine's been doing that a few times recently. I have noticed the battery seems to be getting a bit sluggish so maybe they are related.
