What's the latest in Porsche profits, Cayenne ???

I know Porsche has a Public Relations firm putting spin control on the releases intended for public consumption, as they're in a life and death competition to sell enough of their new Cayennes to pay off the debt they incurred for R&D, and then to make a little profit too. Having said this, and not trusting the Porsche releases, what are the independent sources saying about the impact of the Cayenne to Porsche lore?

I know there are reports of "increased sales", but with a new model, they could sell 10 units and rightfully claim an increase in sales. 2003 started out with a bust, but it appeared to end strongly for Porsche. What's the latest?
