Hi everyone,

I've just bought a mark 1 GT3 Clubsport in speed yellow and wow what an amazing machine! The styling, the noise from start up to 7800 rpm, and the go kart like handling are an intoxicating mix.

It's just had an annual service by the new OPC in Burgess Hill in Sussex (I think they were previously known as Rivervale and based in Shoreham.

I was wondering who fellow GT3 owners use for servicing. Is it best to stick to the OPC network or are there any decent independant Porsche specialists around.

Geoff

PS I live in Surrey

porschegeoff,
Congratulations on your purchase. I read the posts you made leading up to this purchase. It's great that it worked out and you got your GT3.
Are we allowed to know where you bought it/how much/miles/spec etc?? I will understand if you want to keep this information to yourself though!! (Or e-mail me please!)

Hi Johnny,

I bought the car from Sean Lockyear Specialist Cars in Petworth Sussex. It's a RHD Club Sport model, the mileage is 22K miles. Price was 54K.

What do you drive at the mement?

I have a 2001 Boxster S (see my profile). I'm a track day junkie, but I sold my E30 M3 track car to fund the Porker which I love as an every day car.
I plan to either get a 996 Turbo in a couple of years (selling the Boxster S) or keep the Boxster and get a 996 GT3 or 993 RS. Like most PH'ers I track the prices of the best cars....especially GT3's.
Thanks for the price details. Always useful.
