a friday thought. just looking through ph clasifieds and spotted this comment.
´´. 38,000 miles. including new clutch at 14226 miles, new gearbox at 17500 miles and factory engine rebuild at 24600. Goes very well, has been very reliable and looks great.´´.

Sounds very reliable to me and i think running a 964 was fun enough hate to have this car. wont mention the make.

I can guess

You had a lot of trouble with the 964 then? Usual things like oil pipes etc.?

mmm well lets pt some reality to that comment!

I have an f1 and four of my friends do as well.

I have 18K on clutch, others 14/18 a new clutch is £500 my dealers have only had 1 gearbox replacement in the modern varients with less than 50K miles.

Obviously, if one goes into a ferrari main dealer with no regard to cost your going to get ripped off.

It does if you live around here - the main dealer is well know for its liking for £££££££££££££££££££

well ive had a few porkers as well and I dont think porsche main dealers are worse than ferrari main dealers

In the case of Ferrari yes you pay more from a main dealer sure but you get a proper warranty ectect.

The problem with ferrari is that many people who buy them have them as automotive jewellery and seemingly dont care what it costs. But if one takes an interest in the car I have found they are not too bad!
