997 Pictures in Autocar

If you are passing a newsagent at an time today it is worth checking Autocar for the lastest 997 pics, more or less undisguised

I've heard that the 998 will be a more radical change than the rather subtle changes made to the 997.
There will apparantly be no Turbo or GT2/GT3 in the 997 line but there will be the uber-models for the 998 lineup.
To me the 997 just looks like a 996 with a very slight light and indicator change... hhmm

Theres certainly alot more interest now.
I am seeing alot more traffic of late for my 997 site.

If 'KN inspired interior' means cheap looking plastic with poor fit, colour, gloss and grain matching, then that can't be a good thing.
The most significant change for me was (looking at the yellow car) it is now the RHS wheels that look aerodynamically wrong, where today it's the LHS ones. If it wasn't for the image being reversed, we could fit 997 turbo looks to the LHS of a 996 and correct what must be more than an insignificant side to side drag differential.
In the same issue - doesn't the interview with Matt Neal go to prove that you can take the man out of the BMW, but you can't take the BMW out of the man?
