Hi guys,

Basically my garage is on a cobbled street and my garage is up a slight slope, the front of the car drags on the floor very badly, I am worried it will snap the cup splitter off. I need to get some form of gentle ramps just to help it clear - I have tried to google this but I have had no luck. Any thoughts?

Cheers

I had the same problem, bought a couple of small bags of tarmac from B&Q and laid it down outside the garage into my lane.
I managed to camouflage it a bit and it's lasted well, the council even painted yellow lines over the humps.
As I say it was a lane not a road as such, and cobbles might make this a bit more difficult to hide.

which ones do you use, the roll up ramps look most suitable.

Thanks for this!

These from Brian James????

RAMPS
Assistor ramp (pair). Provide less loading angle in applications involving low ground clearance race cars (price per pair) £ 126.00

Extra length ramps - upgrade from 2.0m aluminium ramps on TT Series trailers or RS3, to a 2.5m lightweight aluminium loading ramp (price per pair) £ 149.00

Albeit a bit pikey- some wooden planks will do the job. When my track takes shelter in my garage, I reverse the rear in first- hop out, place the wooden planks under the front wheels, which raises the front clearance and in she goes.

Thanks,
BM

I use the lower ones, but it depends on your needs. My problem was trailer loading.......front of RS would scrape on trailer ramps

Planks are all you need. The approach to the lock-up where I keep the racecar is steep enough that I took one of the exhaust pipe ends off the first time I tried to get in. A couple of 6-foot planks (about 2" thick) smooth it out nicely.
