Hi, wonder if anyone could let me know how often the Spark Plugs need changing in a 996 Turbo ? Is it done on milage or years ?

24k or two years whichever comes first.

I am all for changing oil at more frequent intervals than the book (as it's a good thing and easy to do). but if your TT is a weekender and only covers a few thaousnd each year, thne are the plugs going to really deteriorate as it hits the 24 months marker?

I guess it comes down to your interpretation of the word "need". FSH demands 24k/24m but as you say, they only degrade in use so 24k miles would seem sensible even if that's more than 2 years.

Shame it's such a ballache of a job making it fairly expensive or you'd just do it.
