Help required from any PH who may have brought cars from dealers, pref. South London, Surrey, Sussex, Hants areas, looking for a 964 Coupe or Targa pref. with Tip.
Need to know people opinions, noticed that Portiacraft & 911 Virgins seem to have fairly priced cars, any info about them, off web if preferred are their cars good ? is their warranty any good etc. example, Portiacraft offer 6000 mile unlimited time [6000 miles = perhaps 2 years ! for me]

Thanks Barry

Hi Bif

I've just finally bought my 964 after about 18 months of searching around various haunts.

I got mine from Dan at Oakhills Porsche in Stratford. He may not be the cheapest dealer around but his cars are all A1 and he seems to really care about getting them to look and drive immaculately before he sells them.
I've spoken to him a couple of times since I got the car and he always does his best to give good advice. Not only that you get free membership to the Porsche Club. Give him a try.

Henry at 911 Virgin is also good, but cars are not as well turned out generally, as the air con never works.

Portiacraft I've never dealt with.

Regards

Matt

Bought my 964 targa manual from Cridfords near Woking 2 years ago. I had no problems with them. The car had a faulty ABS control unit which they replaced quickly.

They seem to have less 964s and more 996s and Boxsters now though.
