i will be there just watching try to learn about track days
Make sure you sit in on the driver's briefing then - Steve explains it all every time for the benefit of new members/track day goers...
Your coming a long way from Twickenham aren't you?
I hope you enjoy the day - normally the PCGB days are very friendly.

Have fun Don!!
And see you there in June.

PS Say hallo to anyone that knows me....
Will do, Melv. Are you doing any other PCGB days?
I'm doing Castle Combe twice, then Brands on the Friday of the festival and then Goodwood in the middle of September.
I'm also hoping to round the year off with Brands GP with Easytrack at the end of September with some of the PH track day crew...

Are there any spaces left, can I do it as a day member as haven't joined the club yet? Hmmm, second track day in GT3 or helping the missus with the garden?
You CAN do track days as a non-member but you pay for the privelige.
The one this Easter Saturday is full.
Why not join up and book the Castle Combe day in June...there are still places..
If you are close by you could always pop along for a bit of spectating and a chance to chat to the Track Day organisers...
I'm sure your lovely GT3 will attract attention!
All the info you need is at:

Having never been to a Porsche track day before (let alone taken part) I'm tempted to turn up at CC for a look.
What time does the drivers briefing take place, and are spectators allowed to listen in to get a feel for what happens?
Maybe see some of you there - just keep an eye open for the 'GOONER' numberplate on my car, and please, nobody mention Chelsea!!

Usually pretty early. Since track sessions usually start at 9:00am the briefing is usually a bit before that...
The briefing normally happens in the restaurant - I don't remember any non-drivers being excluded...
If you're a club member I'm sure you'll be welcome. I don't believe the club makes any charge for spectating...
