retrofitting parking sensors to 996, where to get it done?

Am looking at purchasing a 996 turbo and I have found one I like but would like to have parking sensors fitted (live in London). Has anyone had this done and happy with the end result?

I don't want to end up with something like this

Do a search on Rennlist, because of the metal placement inside a 996 Bumper, this system doesnt work - it just goes mental.

The ONLY ones I would get are ones that flush, that look factory.

Pav (Gadgetjunky) has them put on his car, was done by a Car Audio/Sat nav place in Park Royal.

Auto Audio in Park Royal, if you do call, speak to John and tell him Ram with the GT2 told you.
They do a lot of work for main dealers and are regarded as the best in the trade.

I did wonder why they did not list Porsche on the site, real shame as like I said I had a PD1 on the Exige before I changed to the 996T and it was a superb system, really a great design and I had thought of putting another on the 996 so thats saved me the hassel of taking it all apart to find it won't work!!!

It's a shame it doesn't work as it is a very discrete bit of kit, Something I would much rather have than put holes in my bumper.


Kaz - No, I dont have parking sensors, 993s never had them, I think they would look wrong.

Besides, I can see the back of the car by looking out the rear window - that tea tray has its uses!

And yes - Auto Audio Installation in Park Royal, as far as I am aware, they are the only people that do a flush retro fit one. The other protrude

+1 for these guys. i had them put on my 997 and they look just like the factory ones.
