Got the Gundo hack done today on my 05 997...77raher please with it, sounds nice and growly now and certainly improves on the non-existent exhaust note that the car had....

The car has a lot more of a sense of occasion about it...

Cost? £175 all in, which is pretty cheap considering the PSE costs in the region of £2k and I read that it sounds very similar

Who did it? Zorstec in Shipley, West Yorkshire. Very efficient, took the car there at 9am, done by 2pm, no fuss at all.

I havnt driven the car much andwill get some sounds clip put up asap....

From my research, it has no effect on either performance or emissions.....

It also passes noise regulations, although it is quite on the loud side....

My fuel seems also to have finished rapidly, but that is probably due to lots of revving of the engine whilst stationary to hear what it sounds like!

I'd love to see a before and after rolling road printout because that looks like it'll be brutal and you'll lose power

I did this to my 997 C4S last week and must say it is too noisy for me. It does sound like there is a hole in the exhaust when you pull away with gentle reving. But it sounds awesome when starting the car cold. It also sounds great just bumbling along...but its when you pull away that it sounds noisiest.

Anyone want gundo hacked exhaust??

Ill be looking for a second hand PSE now.

From my research, the PSE may be just as loud as the Gundo hack.....so try one out before you splash the case....

Your hacked exhaust should make good money if you put it on ebay, as ebayers are charging £300+ just for doing the mod....

I love mine, and think that it really makes the car.....but I guess it is on the loud side...

You could try getting it re-done with a smaller bore by-pass pipe.
