I put my boxster roof in the service position to clear out leaf debris and clear the drain holes. I then closed roof and operated the hook to finish.
I went to open about an hour later and nothing. Any suggestions what has gone wrong?

Well starting with the obvious, check the fuse.

Were the drain holes blocked and holding water? If the water overflows into the car it can fill up the intelligently placed control unit under the passenger seat and cause all kinds of electrical gremlins, including stopping the roof from operating. It mat have blown a fuse because of this too.

My 911 roof did that and I disconnected the battery for a few mins and it worked fine after that.

Tried disconnecting battery. Made PSM inoperative but was OK after a short drive. Checked the fuse OK. No water build up inside of car dry apart from a small degree of condensation on windscreen header. Windows dont drop when roof hook is disengaged. ?? dodgy microswith?
