996 Turbo/C4S Spring Clean
Discussion
Last year I fitted mesh to the front air intakes in my C4S.

At that time I reached into the cowls around the radiators and condensors and pulled out lots of debris but as the mesh took me so long to fit I didn't remove the cowls.
This weekend I wanted to fit new aircon condensors as I've had a slow leak over the past year. So this time I would take the time to do a proper clean!
These pics show the amount of rubbish hidden behind the aircon condensors once they were off:

So with some careful cleaning with compressed air and a brush the radiators got a good clean up.

New condensors fitted:

Cowls back on:

I have also drilled drainage howls in the cowls at the rear so that I can hose the from the front through the mesh and keep the cowls free between spring cleans.

So hopefully now the new condensors will last longer with the mesh stopping the stones and leaves etc and the drainage holes allowing me to hose out weekly.
I know there are other guys on here doing this every year but I would highly recommend it to anyone who has not got round to it yet.
PS The mesh is hardly visible once you are a few feet from the car (the phot below shows it most visible with studio lighting) and I do not believe it stops airflow and cooling effect more than all the debris it prevents.
