Drove a 2.7RS lwt today.
Not the fastest Porsche - and brakes, gearboxes, ultimate grip have all improved over the last 38 years - but the original RS is still a total gem - so light and eager, astonishingly rewarding steering and handling, lovely free revving engine, great noise, very quick and a brilliant 'B' road blast.

I find it almost impossible to answer as there are so many I love
904? 356 Speedster? 2.7Rs? 993 GT2? etc etc
But if you narrow it down it would be the 917, the greatest racing car of all time
But one car runs it close for me and its far rarer than a 917, only racing 4 times by the factory and none being sold to independants.
