Tapping Noise from the engine

On returning from a 4 hour drive I noticed a definite tapping noise from the engine, mainly audible at idle (decatted and carbon cans means you can hear sod all at any other revs). Engine has a TVRPower rebuild

So I called Dom, and on his advice drove it to TVR Power today for Dom to listen to especially as I am off to Le Mans in a couple of weeks.






Bonnet off in the workshop and Dom's words were.......................



Its all fine mate, drive is as hard as you want to......

happy now - cheers Doms and thanks for the door release cable.

Worthwhile trip and the Reflex Charcoal Typhon was in the workshop, its a nice looking car

Partially paranoia and partially a tick from the air con pump

i had a similar issue, the engine note had changed...a quick visit to Dom he put me right, going to put a separate post on it as i surprised me a little. Dom is a great guy to have looking after you, cant fault him.
