Took the front calipers off today and cleaned them up, painted them 'max power red' . They look pretty awesome to be fair and pretty much like a new set of ap's so thats good.

However the calipers have 2 bleed nipples, Please tell me that bleeding from both nipples is what i do? i.e open both up, bleed as normal, close both off when bled?

I also have lost a bit of fluid but im not sure what fluids in there. Is it safe to mix brakes fluids?

Of course maybe its best to just drop the fluid and replace with something nice like castrol srf..... silly question time... where do i drain the fluid from and where do i top it up smile

thanks

My theory is that if you don't know when it was done, drop the fluid and replace with good stuff! Should change every 2 years anyway in my experience. You'll need to top up under the dash, removing the pedal cover you'll see the master cylinder.

if you have them apart might also be worth upgrading to stainless braided hoses....

There are braided hoses already which is nice.

Where is the drain point for the fluid? And how many litres does it take, think I'll stick some nice castrol srf in there smile

Top up by the pedal box under the steering column
Remove decorative plate round the pedals (dont drop the screws into the box cos theyre hard to get back)
Recommend an ezbleed to pressurize via reservoir cap the drain out of the nipples
Yes, bleed both btw else you wont get pressure

Magnetic ended pickup tool helps, trust me I've done it a few times!
