I need to replace my front AP CP5200 calipers. What can I replace them with or does anyone know where I can source a new pair?

Why do you need to replace them? Problem?

There was a pair on ebay a while back and on PH clasifieds, a few people have replaced them with Hispec but I like the AP's.

How come they need replacing? Can they not be rebuilt?

They are listed on the AP site so I would have thought any of their stockists would be able to order them.

There is a problem with the bleed nipples. I have emailed Big red to see if they can re-manufacture them so am waiting for their reply. Just wondered what my options are. Ideally would like to stick with the AP's.

I can't find them on ebay or the classifieds.

I am assuming from reading posts on the Cerbera forum (cerbs also have these calipers) that I need the ones to suit the 330 x 32mm discs on a RR car, can anyone confirm this?

- TO SUIT DISC Ø330.0x32.0mm.
- RHT = CP5200-802S4 / - LHT = CP5200-803S4.
- RHL = CP5200-804S4 / - LHL = CP5200-805S4.
- TO SUIT DISC Ø330.0x28.0mm.
- RHT = CP5200-806S4 / - LHT = CP5200-807S4.
- RHL = CP5200-808S4 / - LHL = CP5200-809S4.
- TO SUIT DISC Ø304.0x32.0mm.
- RHT = CP5200-810S4 / - LHT = CP5200-811S4.
- RHL = CP5200-812S4 / - LHL = CP5200-813S4.

Any ideas who could rebuild them, Big red can't help and AP say they don't have the parts anymore. The new model are £300 each yikes?

Good news and thanks to Andy at TVR Power for his persistance. It seems that AP can rebuild the later CP5200 calipers for £92 + vat each. This includes rebuilding the bleed screws, cleaning and resealing.

It is the earlier standard black calipers that they can no longer do. Lead time is around 3 week though, it will have to wait until after TAG11.

Thanks to speed eight for his kind offer of assistance, much appreciated. thumbup
