After much debate and searching through old posts I have recently purchased 4 of the above tyres for my Tuscan S.. I've only driven about 200 miles with them so far and have been taking things easy as I know they need to be 'scrubbed in', However the car still feels quite nervous compared to prior to the tyres going on.. Im running 26psi all round but recall someone on here mentioning that the Vred's need a higher psi than most tyres.. Would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has them.. Also approx how many miles before they're 'broken in'.
Many thanks in advance.

I think it's heat cycles as much as pure miles to fully cure the tyres. I run mine with 24F 25R.

Thanks guys,
Guess I just need to put a few more miles on them.. I've heard nothing but good things about the Vreds, so I have got high hopes for them.

Agreed. I'm running 26/27 all round.

Went out for first proper blast yesterday

OMG! So THATS what a planted Tuscan feels like. Astonishing. I've been driving a death trap for the last 3 years.

There is just no comparison to old pieces if s**t that came off. With those, the car would jump, jostle and lurch all over the place. On a a narrow ish A road with on-coming traffic I'd slow to 40 in case it decided to throw me towards the wrong side of the road!
Now it just rides the bumps and needs almost zero steering correction even on seriously bumpy and ridged B roads!

I've got to be honest now that these Vred's are broken in Im absolutely blown away by them.. They have needed about 350- 400 miles to bed in, But I went for a spirited drive yesterday in both the wet and the dry and for the 1st time since i've owned the car the tramlining has completely gone... The car just feels so stable and compliant.. The difference is comparable to when I changed from standard suspension over to nitrons last year, it really is that noticeable, In short I wont be using any other tyre from now on as these things are fantastic.

I have them on my A6 Quattro and they are excellent on that, and will put them on the Tuscan when the current tyres are worn out.

On the A6 they wear better than everything else, circa 30% further

I have the vreds on a 911 ,they are ofcourse NOT "Porsche rated N tyres" but they feel so much better than the Conti's & the pirrellis I have used before that were the "N" tyres . Vredstein great value!

I also cant recomend these highy enough! I decided to go for 225/40 and 255/35 and my god what a change, i actually enjoy the Tuscans handling for first time. Before the Vreds i was running 235 and 245 Bridgstones. Awesome tyres for the money im sure as more people recognise this they will be going up in price.
