Hello all

I just bought a cosmosblue 2005 Tuscan 2S Lhd with 28k kms and really enjoyed the sunny drive home from Milan. Couldn´t stop grinning like a loon when i saw it gleaming in the sun. After having had a Chim for almost 6 years this is quite a bit more exciting even though i didn´t take it much over 4k since it just had a bottomend-rebuild 1000 miles ago at RG.
So i hope you lot don´t mind me bothering you with the odd question.
Off now to the garage to have a look it´s still there and i`m not dreaming!

Cheers Jens

P.S.: Has anybody got a set of standard exhaust cans for sale? I need theese for the german TÜV as it has loooud ones at the moment!

Hi

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Is anybody running Yokohama 255/ 18s allround? If so, what tyrepressures would you recommend?
The car felt quite nervous on the drive home.

Cheers Jens

Hi Jens,
Congratulations on your Tuscan purchase.
We obviously need photo's.
I've just fitted loud cans on mine so think I could let my standards go.
I'm flying to Germany from the US today.
I'll have to email you as it gets a bit complicated but I could probably bring the cans over in July or August in my Tuscan and meet up with you somewhere.
Cheers,
Tony

Thanks Gerjo! I was running more like 1,8 1,9 so will try a bit less.

Hello Tony
Meeting sounds great. I just met a few british TVR-drivers a few days ago at the 3-Ländertreffen in Karlsruhe where we all had a great time. Are you coming to the Oldtimer-Grandprix on the Ring in august?

Cheers Jens

if you want it really stable, you need to switch to Nitrons with Eibach springs, change the geo and put 225 tyres on the front. Raising the steering rack also helps.

but first, enjoy the car, Jens! it is something special.

Hi Jens,
Just realised my Standard cans are sleeved.
Will try to remove the sleeves when I get home next week.
I may drive back to Germany the week after next but need to work out my holiday plans first. Will let you know.
My firewall is stopping me from the tvrblog page frown
Tony.

Jens,
O/T - are you going to the 'Old Timer GP' in August?
I will be there with my '04 Tuscan. I'm hoping to travel onto Bavaria to see a mate in Nuernburg, probably Monday morning (15th August).
Would be good to meet up.

Hi Jens,
OK, I'm at the OGP from Thursday through to Sunday - doing the camping, and I've signed up for the German TVRCC BBQ on the Saturday evening. Hopefully see you on one of the days.
