A bit more than the dealers offer may be a good idea but then how much short of the asking price is that ?
The dealer may offer one or two 'free' extras if its a part exchange.

ETA - that must be 25k 'retail' with a trader so presuming nothing is wrong then you've saved half the cost of the rebuild as a reserve pot already.

Well mind made up. If that beast is not back home with me Sunday / Monday, I will be PI**ED.
May try to find a specialist up that way to have a once over when I go up.

Try Barry Martin at TVR Ecosse in Dundee. Used to/might still run the TVR owners club up there too. But he's got mine for new shocks/discs/12k service this week, so you'd better not delay that!
