I would like to get a good quality bullet camera or similar piece of kit for filming on the roads. Hook to window and grill, that type of footage. There are so many to choose from at vastly different prices.
Anyone have or had experience with a good quality / good price Camera and mic?

Yep, GoPro's are probably the best image quality per £ available right now. I don't own one myself but several friends have them, and compared to other bullet cameras and camcorders that I've used, they're really impressive.

I bought one from Andy, guillotine on here, on his tvr monster website, more expensive than some, but ideal for trackdays as it shows rpm, speed, gear, and laptimes as well, looks a bit like a playstation game on the screen
