Hope you can help a newbie.

Driving into work this morning I got a code L -inconsistent road speed input do dah. Its interesting that it came up today as on Saturday I was taking an unexpected dash up the M40 and I remember looking down and seeing the analogue speedo telling me I was doing 50,which I was most certainly not. Next time I looked it was reading the correct speed ( Quick arn't they!).

Is this return to base or a fix it on the hoof job?

if you do a search, you will find what needs to be done. I think that either the speedo generator needs to be replaced or its a dash out job and send it back to tvr. If you do have to send it back it usualy can be done within a week.

Had code L come up loads of times on my Tuscan and was told by the garage not to worry about it. It turned out that it was a previous problem that hadn't been cleared from the memory. 2 minutes on the diagnostic computer cleared it and it has not returned.
