Hi all - I have a set of exhausts from a 2005 Mk2 'S' from after cats, with standard and carbon cans, that are now surplus to requirements. A few questions just to check my ground on these:
- Were there any changes to exhausts between mk1 and mk2 or would they fit either?
- I think the bore of exhausts for 'S' models were slightly wider than standard - most of the pipe is 2 3/4 inch diameter - is this correct?
- Following on from above, would fitting these exhausts to a non 'S' Tuscan (think this would require cats/decats with wider exit or some sort of packing?) free up a few BHP and a bit more of a growl/roar from the Sp6?
Advice/info appreciated!

Hi
The exhausts from the Cat back are bigger, as far as I know they are the same Mk1 to Mk2.
The main differences were the cam timing, bigger injectors and bigger exhaust. There was a different chip as well, again as far as I know.
It is unlikely on their own they would produce much change.
Hope that helps,
