Currently looking at a few jobs and the power steering is next on my list. I am thinking of changing over to the Saxo system as fitted to MK2. Any views?

Ye have done it £50 from local breakers yard

also was told by local PS expert/ recon comp that all Saxo 106 pumps give out the same pressure/volume so pick the one with the reservoir to suit your install

Thanks Walford, you are turning into a straight up kinda guy, enjoying having you on the forum.

Looking at it, I can pick up the pump, reservoir and loom for £50. Any difference in feel? Will the reservoir version fit under the bonnet?

Don't know

I changed the engine and box to LS1/T56 at the same time,
So transferred quite a lot of weight to the center of the car

I put the 106 pump on my Cerb and am very happy with it. At parking speeds it gives more constant pressure and therefore assistance whilst at speed there is no difference in steering feel.
