Had some new boots fitted whilst getting the wheels refurbished yesterday and was suprised by the amount of wear to the inside shoulder of the rears. I'm now wondering if it's something to worry about. Is it a case of TADTS or something I should look out for again/rectify?

I had new springs and shocks fitted earlier this year, approx 4.5k miles ago, with a full geo setup after, and in the 14k miles these rears have done 9k has been touring i.e. boot loaded.

Thoughts? Comments?

Cheers

worn bushes? or Geo setup. I took some off a while back and they were worn but no geo, new shocks or setup.

Lots of speedbumps where you live? Could be another explanation as they destroy inner shoulders

Geo set up.

Mine looked like that and were nearly bold on the front. Changed the rubber and had a full geo done and now even ware smile

It may be the pics but that looks more like rubbing to me than wear.

normal signs of wear with agressive setup at rears!
Have had same on my Porsches.
Live with it and you know that you also have a good setup for fast cornering.

Its nothing special!

The guy on this video has a real problem

Interesting link biggrin

Geo is confirmed all good, it was way out when I bought it and didn't get rectified properly for at least 6k miles of driving so may stem from that period. As it's not 'normal' I'll keep an eye on the wear pattern over the next few months.

Thanks for all the replies thumbup
