Diagnostics warning on my Tuscan

Whilst out on a drive on Saturday a Diagnostics warning 'code L' came up on my dash. It hasn't happened since.

Does anyone know what this is?

What would cause the speed sensor(code L) to come on.

I believe this is a known issue and if it occurs at slow speeds then there is nothing at fault. At least that us what my list of codes says. It does happen on mine occasionally too
