The seal on my boot lid has come adrift in a couple of places. I'm guessing this stuff was self adhesive when new.

Could I glue the seal back on, it looks relatively new. Whats the least offensive glue to use ie one that should i ever replace all seals wont need sanding off!

Evostick?

Are you sure the seals glue on though? I am sure they push on, I will have a look at mine later

Looks like they must have had a self adhesive layer on the boot lid seal.

Get the new seals from RaceTech direct. They are definitely a push fit over the grp 'lip'. Just check you have the correct 'upstand' for the boot seal (IIRC difference is 22mm versus 28mm).

nope this is on the boot lid. The push fit on the boot lip is fine. Do you guys have seals on the underside of the boot lid?

In short - No

In long - No, why would you need them if the boot lid fits properly and the main push on seals are ok? I can only think that they may help pop the boot lid open a bit

It also has wool carpet in the boot which is on the original invoice as an option. Have no idea if this is factory fitted but it follows the contours of the lid exactly.

Mine also has a wool carpet in the boot, but no additional seals.

Going to pull it off and clean the back of the seal up and put automotive trim tape on it and whack it back on.. dont know why I didnt think of that before asking.
