Something else odd

Not sure quite why, or what I've done, but the light under the start/ stop switch stays on, and red (not green) all the time.
The alarm works (the cat demonstrated that) and the engine stops and starts appropriately. But the light is always on - running, rolling, stopped, off, locked.

Any ideas? (it used to do the whole off and green thing)
