Currently sitting in the sunshine in the canaries and was just thinking about the tuscan and how awesome it would be on to drive over here. And was also thinking about how much I enjoyed the chimaera 500 that I owned previously.
Having read various threads about speed6 rebuilds it got me wondering if a rv8 would fit in a tuscan? I would imagine it would suit the car quite well.

Yes it can be fitted.

Serious work needed to suspension and drivetrain but it can be done.

Opinions vary on the result.

With a four barrel Holly and Edelbrock manifolds?

I like them.

A straight through freeflow exhaust helps too with ineffective silencers.

Not all like the result the corners can be a challenge and the steering is very heavy.

A mans car?

Not as easy as I had daydreamed it would be then. Was thinking that with the tuscan essentially evolving from the griff/chim was wondering if the rv8 had ever been on the drawing board.

What makes the Chevvy a better option? Isn't there one floating around with a big chunk of engine poking out the top of the bonnet?

Was really just wondering. Happy to report no issues with my s6 biggrin but I do miss the v8

I missed the V8 rumble as well so have just bought a second TVR smile
A lovely Chimaera.
What a contrast between the two cars.
Tuscans just had a replacement ECU and is growling like a mad dog and popping like a machine gun while the Chimaera is just rumbling along like a grown up version of the Tuscan. Lovely.
