Hi all, I know this has been covered before, but I can't find the details.

Whats the details of the replacement display panel, and is has anyone written a guide on how to replace?

Thanks!

Andy

That time of year, I also need to sort the display. Need to know how to dismantle the pod, don't want to just start dismantling.

Thanks for the links/info.
How is it removed from the pod in the first place?

have just ordered my replacement lcd from PACER 01189845280

and spoke to a very helpful chap called Sean Heath

He has worked for TVR in the past and said these new lcds will go straight in.

ok sorry to mess guys around with my replies lol

You can buy 1 unit direct from Pacer.

It was the manufacturer that would only sell 500 units.

Mine screen is ordered with Pacer and will be here Monday so I will let you know the outcome.

Sorry again for the confusion lol

Let us know what its like.

Reason i know how to take it all apart is because i am doing some work on the car, there was some dust which had got behind the main plastic panel and there was still some glue left from the factory which i could see.

Easy job,take nfront off,give it a clean....

Except i used a nail wipe on the screen which then destroyed the thin plastic screen protector doh !

So i stripped it all down and luckily it was just a screen protector, pulled that off and luckily its totally undamaged, although as yet i'm not sure if that little plastic sticked actually does anything except protecting it during the cars build. So i may need a new screen or at least a plastic protector- which i thought could possibly be something to help with reflection etc.

10 min job turned into a 2.5 hour nightmare hehe
