I've just been looking at the wiring diagram for the fuel injectors. It looks like there are just 2 outputs which are then split to the 2 banks of injectors. How does this work? I would have thought that each injector would require its own individual signal.

The standard MBE ECU runs batch injection which means each injector fires once per revolution, hence only two injector drivers. Not ideal from an efficiency and smoothness standpoint but fine for top end power.

Newer aftermarket ECU's (Syvecs for example) improve on this by adding, amongst many other features, sequential injection (injectors only fire when intake valve is open) so has 6 injector drivers, but need the addition of a cam position sensor to work.
