Hello - have just jacked the car up and found that the front transmission tunnel plate is missing. i suspect this has been left off after it was serviced. haven't had a chance yet to get underneath to see if there are sheared bolts which would explain why it wasn't put back on, but will the rear plate be a like for like change as i can put a chassis strut brace from tvr power on the rear. cheers

Do you mean the plate under the engine?

Thinking the OP might be assuming there should be a third plate between the one under the motor and the one further back towards the diff, as there is a biggish gap between them.

Morning - no there were two plates - the one that covered the bottom of the engine and one of cats and the one nearer the diff. It's the front plate that is missing. I've got the back one off now so will be seeing if it fits on the front mountings in the next couple of days. cheers

Have you seen the post by Red rose regarding an under tray that he has? A long shot I know but thought it was worth a mention!

I've got a front under tray (the big sheet pictured above) that the existing owner of my old car has not claimed. Need to clear the garage and get rid of it soon - so let me know if it's what you need.

Thanks Red Rose - hopefully will be getting under the car tonight to see if the rear one fits at the front, if it does then i'll be looking at getting the chassis brace from TVR power. I'll let you know, thanks for the offer, Regards
