Will probably be changing my clutch in the next month or so. Can anyone whos done this themselves let me know of any "gotchas" they encountered? Did do a search but couldnt find anybodys specific experiences.

Specifically im interested if you encountered any difficulties in the final adjustment of the master and slave travel, or just followd the spec in graham varleys manual. Mainly concerned about over travel into the fingers.

Probably also going to use it as a time to repaint that area of the chasis.

Not done the clutch change but I have the pedal linkage adjusted to give the shortest stroke at the master cylinder and as little movement beyond the disengaged point as possible to minimise stress on the fingers.

In the GV Manual it says the gearbox can be removed if you raise the car to 500mm.

If anyones done this, is the minimum height for a T-Chassis car?

Depends what I find really. According to the paper work it had a new slave 18 months ago. And I haven't seen any signs of leakage.
