Pretty straight forward, the drivers door was the hardest as you also need to cover the wing mirror control console which is a separate unit and a funny shape. I sanded the old flock off to make a better surface for the contact adhesive. You need a very good pair of scissors and a scalpel or razor blade and some high temperature contact adhesive (I used a spray version). I have also done the rear speaker cards, i just need to do the inside of the roof. I bought 3 meters (140 wide) but you can do the complete job with 2 meters, the trick is to use unbacked fabric so it's more flexible. It took me about 5 hours to do both door cards and rear cards.
After a lot of phoning around I managed to find two suppliers of genuine Acantara about £80 per meter (vat included). So I ordered some samples and also some samples of faux suede, the quality of genuine Acantara was by far the best but on a visit to Peter Jones/John Lewis I found in their fabric section a faux suede from italy far thicker than the rest, costing only £34 a meter, so I ordered that and i'm very happy with the results. I would normally say Alcantara only but have to say i'm very impressed with the faux suede from Peter Jones/John Lewis (Romo fabrics).
I'll have a look in my note book at work for the two suppliers of Acantara for you guys tomorrow.

If the John Lewis stuff seems good enough, then why not! Just wondering how it would fare if it gets wet? I tend to get a dribble of water coming from the top corner of the window (only whilst driving) which seems to land on top of the wing mirror controls. The current interior has no water marks at all.
By the way, I'm so bad at judging the size of things - the roof lining isn't more than 1m squared, is it?

1 meter will be enough to do the roof as long as it's 140cm wide (1 meter square won't be quite enough), I know the roofs are different, mine has a centre channel which is going to make it more fiddlier hence needing more fabric. My tuscan also leaks (as many do) and the drivers door card got wet yesterday when I washed the outside, so far so good, I have a clean cloth in the car to wipe dry to limit the damage.!

Yes you can!

did the same last week.
sanding the surface is not necessary. You can spray the adhesive direct on the floc.
i recommend Pattex spray adhesive..its permanent, is for high temperatures..you can buy it everywhere.

I'm jealous. I went snowboarding in Tahoe a few years back. It's a beautiful place.
