coil pack gone?

I noticed after a trip today on the Motorway that I have a sudden hestitation under load from 3000 till 5000 RPM. More in 5th or 4th gear. Less in 2nd and 3rd. It was not there last week! Engine is not running smooth over 3000 RPM

Are that the signs of a broken Coil Pack or have we more to investigate. (spark plugs, cables are OK I think)
