Trickle charger not charging

I changed the battery on my Tuscan last summer and all was well. I Haven't used it for a while though and forgot to put the trickle charger on. I plugged it in recently and the light came on to show that it was working, though after a couple of days it's not charged at all. Is there anything obvious I might have missed before I push it out of the garage and take the wheel off to fiddle about?

A trickle charger is for keeping a battery topped up. It won't have enough oomph to recharge what I presume is a flat battery.

I would get yourself a CTEK with the ability to revive a deeply discharged battery and then maintain it. Most likely it will revive your battery and save you buying a new one.
