ignition coming on without the key in

I turn the car off and remove the key and after about 10 seconds the pod comes to life and the fuel pump comes on. I think I'm going to have a flat battery in the morning.

Any ideas? the car has been outside the last week in the rain, do you think I have a wet connection.

Is the ignition button sticking. Try wd40

Sounds like the time it takes for the immobiliser to kick in after turning the ign off. Maybe an alarm fault?

Well, I came out this morning and the battery wasnt flat but the pod lights , ignition and fuel lights were still on, car turned over no problems.

Just came back from a long drive out and the problems seems (hopefully) to have gone away, the alarm works now too.??????

You could always spray some one in the face with as a substitute for pepper spray!

If the problem happens again try just pulling the ignition fuse out to reset it. Could be a sticky switch somewhere - plus it will temporarily stop your battery from dying!
